'87 4R exhaust

i am looking to put a new exhaust on my '87 4R. I put some 33's on it, and lost a lot of "go", and i want to try and gain some of that back, as well as quiet my ride down some, as i have some exhaust leaks in there right now. Any recommendations on what type of exhaust?

The only way your going to gain some power exhaust wise is thru a header and low restriction exhaust.

Nice, do you have any suggestions for specific headers you know of that work well versus ones that don't? much appreciation!

Did you go from stock to 33's? You may want to look at gearing.

WHEN I BOUGHT MY 4RUNNER, IT HAD 31x10.5'S, THEN I PUT THE 33x12.5'S ON IT.

Well, once you are done with the exhaust and other tweaks n mods, have a look at the gearing if you are still doggin it out of the hole.

EXHAUST SITUATION

YEAH, I JUST FOUND A HUGE PART OF MY PROBLEM. MY EXHAUST PIPE IS PINCHED DOWN TO ABOUT AN INCH RIGHT NEXT TO MY TRANNY WHERE MY EXHAUST DROPS DOWN OFF THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. BOO! I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW MUCH POWER IS BEING LOST RIGHT THERE. SO I AM FIXING IT THIS WEEKEND, AND CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE!

Does anybody have PaceSetters? Black? or ArmorCoat? is the ArmorCoat worth it?
