87 4runner drive belts

I recently replaced all of my drive belts, and now I have my battery, brake, and AT oil temp lights on. They flicker on and off, and will stay off for awhile, then come back on randomly. All of the belts are tight, but not too tight. My battery is charging, and my alternator is new, so I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

The 3 together is the indication of a dying alternator (usually brushes).

Are you sure belt is tight ? alt is good ?

The alternator is newer, and the belt is brand new. I thought there may have been a chance that I put the belt on too tight and maybe it's too loose now? It doesn't seem likely though, and my battery still has a charge after driving around for 2 weeks with it, so it has to be working somehow.

Did you every figure out the issue?

I just did my belts a couple weeks ago and re adjusted them today since the alternator was squealing around 4,500 RPM - all good now.

I'm not having the same issues as you but was curious, since I just changed my belts too....

It's the weirdest thing, they seem to stay off now. But I'm still concerned because those three lights don't light up at all on my dash, even when my key is in the ACC position. It seems to be running and my battery is keeping charged, so I guess I'll just have to live with it for now. :X
