Have 87 4runner 22r. The fuel mixture runs rich. I was told the MAP sensor could be bad. I can't find it although was told it is on top of the air cleaner. I have Chilton manaul...but it does not list a MAP sensor or show one.
There is a electrical connector plugged into the top of the aluminum housing on top of the air cleaner...but I can't see any sensor.
I have an ohm meter but not sure how to chech the plug or voltages.
I just cannot figure why it runs rich. Anyone have any experience or advise about how to fix this?
