I just bought a 1988 4runner and have been having some problems


around 1600rpm the accelerator fails to provide power and a very very jerky motion occurs as it goes from 1000 to 2000


Im leaking oil out the front. a fair amount now. anyone know where its coming from

if the oil is leaking from the front of the engine checjk your crank case seal. don't have any idea about the irratic motions you speak of

Try readin' the fault codes from the ECU, it might show something.
It might be a faulty sensor or something like that.

Could be a vacuum leak or a bad sensor. Check your ECU codes, then look for vacuum leaks.

could be a fuel cut-off problem but i've never heard of it happening in a non turbo motor...
