9 wrap shocks

I know there are several threads with regards to what shocks work best with LC 9wraps....but I wasn't able to come to a concrete conclusion so I'm looking for some more information. I'm looking for a shock that will bolt up easily and give me good flex offroad. Those of you with 9 wraps let me know what your running, where you got them and a part number would be great. I'm leaning toward LC's #48531-69417, any input? Cheers.

You're spot on. Use those shocks. Or you can use the bilsteins. I use the LC shocks and really like them.

Are you running 9 wraps? Any extensions, adapters or extra peices needed to install?

Yeah I've been running 9 wraps for 2 years. The only thing you'll need is two 1/2" washers... pretty sure that's the size.... for the LC shocks. The length of the threads on those shocks is shorter than the OME toyota shocks, so you'll need to stack 2 washers on each of the shocks when you bolt them on (on the top mount) and you're good to go. I recommend a panhard drop and/or an adjustable panhard bar, you can find on toytec's website.

EDIT: Two washers for each shock. So buy 4. Should cost max $1

I'm not sure what you're paying for those shocks, but my Monroes were $29 a piece.

Same here, they work just fine for daily driving and running down the beach.
