90,000 Mile Service

Been viewing the board for sometime now and finally got past the lazyness and registered (I got no excuse!) I'll post a few pics of my '01 if anyone is interested this weekend.

ANYWAY--I have 113,000 miles on her and was wondering what the recommended services should be done. I called the dealership and was told, and I quote "we will replace the timing belt and things like that" Um, things like that? Oh, and it will be $1100! YIKES. I am far from being a mechanic so I really need anybodys suggestions.

Yikes is right!! $ 1100 smackers is shocking. Since you do not feel comfortable doing difficult mechanical work, maybe you could have them change the timing belt and then you tackle the rest? Only you can answer that. You should also get a second estimate!!
