I have recently moved to Guam and part of island experience is having an old 4Runner to offroad or carry my scuba gear. So I purchased a 1990 4Runner V6 4WD.
I've read a lot of posts concerning a rough idling; however, there are few solid fixes. I've just changed out the Mass Air Flow Sensor, new cap, plugs, wires, and oil. I've also increased the parked idle to about 1K. I still get rough spots and it is worsened when I turn on the AC. When it warms up a bit is runs a little smoother, but there is still a constant rough spot.
Anyone had successful fixes for this?
