I've asked this before when I was getting ready to sell my 4runner last summer I think it was. Obviously that didn't happen. I haven't driven it much since getting a 12 Rav4 Sport after my car accident but I gotta get rid if one of them. I'm 50/50 on that Rav vs the 4runner.
What's everyone opinions on the pricing of these? I seem them all over the place especially towards NYC with tampered with mileage and very rusty frames from scummy flippers.
Has had 2 places fixed on the frame the typical spot in the front and a small hole that was under the drain for the AC. Rest is acceptable.
113k Sport has Cooper tires that have less than 1k miles on them. Still gave original wheels might swap for the sale and sell the rims and tires separate.
Brand new Raybestos 5th generation upgrade calipers that have been painted black. Pads
Raybestos slotted rotors
Akebono high performance
Within 15k the shocks were replaced with bilstein 4600s
I changed all the fluids around the same time but will change them again. All synthetic
Spark plugs- denso
Pcv - oem
Front axles with new Cardone
Front and rear sway bar bushings-poly
Front and rear sway bar links -moog
Power steering pump- have to double check.
Alternator -carquest
All pullies-oem
Belt -oem
I think that's it unless I remember something else.
Starts right up, used Mobil one in it myself not sure about the original owner who I got it from.
The plastic parts are worn cause the guy just let it sit in the sun all it's life, the passenger side tapped a guard rail after someone came into my lane going around a corner. Only hit the plastic and pretty sure it can be wet sanded down and when resprayed wouldn't be able to notice.
The lift gate has some rust from the oringal owners license plate frame, just never took the took the time to fix it.
The dash is cracked all over but I do have another one for it sitting in my shed that looked good.
I did change the speakers out I think they are JBL another thing I can double check.
I do have a new reflector for the rear bumper.
Anyone have an idea of a fair price is for a 4runner in this shape is worth? Or a starting point perhaps? Trying to look around myself but figured ask here.. again. Thanks for the help.
