90' 4Runner with wierd noise coming from front end?

I posted here just before the winter about a strange noise that started off as just a random noise, only doing it maybe once a day. It started out sounding kinda like a bark, now it has become a constant noise. The noise sounds kinda like it has whooping cough. When the 4 wheel drive is engaged the noise stops. Also, when I'm into the gas a bit and the pressure seems to let up on the front end it stops too, but begans again promptly. Anyone have any issues like these? I replaced the bearings and races and the transfer case fluid, but no help.

Have you figured this out? I'm having the same problem, except now even when I put it in 4 wheel drive it's starting to do it too, could it be a linkage or sensor problem or maybe both? It's as if when in two wheel it's not coming out of 4 wheel completely, anyone know what could cause this?

(My truck is a 93)
