I have searched and found this is a common problem but, havent found an answer.
My 90' auto v6 4 runner starts fine cold. I can even drive it for 10-15 minutes and it re-starts fine. If I drive the truck for 20 minutes or more and turn it off, it wont start for 30 minutes to 3 hours sometimes.
The truck started doing this shortly after having a new starter and battery installed. The battery is holding a charge. The neutral position switch is not the problem. I am somewhat baffled. My only clue has been a non-descript paragraph about a second starter relay..
Thanks for any help,
Robert
