90 USD Labor Cost for F/R Differential Oil Change

Is this too much? With oil, they will charge 157.00. They will be using Mobil synthetic..

That seems like a lot to me for a 20-minute job. Are your drain/fill plugs rusted? That could add to the labor, but it's a pretty quick job especially if you have a little hand pump to fill the diffs... pouring from the bottle is impossible on the front.

The last time that the fluids were changed was last 67,000. My truck now has 105,000. The stealership is quoting me 69.99 * 3 (tax not included) to change the transfer case, front, and rear differential. Though I think they will use Dino Oil. Should I go to the dealer instead knowing it's OEM and I think they will be changing the crushers, washers as well..

That $90 is the standard 1hr labor charge. If you can do the work yourself thats the best but if not 90 isnt too bad.

I thought my mechanic was overcharging me for oil change/lubes. So I go to wally world and start pricing out mobil 1, an oil filter, lube. Came to the conclusion that I can't do it that much cheaper myself. Besides he gives the car an inspection and tells me what to keep an eye on, what I should have done next time and hands me the report. I see him regularly so when I need something done ASAP, I'm a regular customer.
