906's installed, found my NOISE YAYYY

so i tackled installing my used 906's tonight and while doing so i found the source for the stupid noise thats been bugging me for months! as it turns out, BOTH of my rear coil springs had converted themselves to two-piece springs

so, if you have rear sag might want to crawl under and take a good look at your springs. i gained a solid 2 inches and a much firmer feelarty:

Wow! Haven't seen a spring rust apart like that! Were those the original springs?

I assume they were. The rust is just on the break, i guess they fatigued over time and just broke.

lol, i only drove around the neighborhood last night but they felt fine the whole .4 miles lol. the truck looks awesome! i'll take an "after" picture today.

I've only seen that happen one other time and it was on a 77 Ford that i had. Found the same thing when i lifed it. kinda makes you wonder how unsafe it was and how long its been that way. Glad you found your noise.
