Nice truck! The mod bug bit you hard! I'm trying not to do the same with mine. Notice I said "trying". I can't wait to get my lift, wheels, and tires on my '98. I love the LVL 8 MK6's, I'm taking mine off my Tacoma and putting them on the 4 Runner. lol

We've had some similar past rides. I had a 500whp, low 11 sec '03 Cobra and a bone stock '90 Mistusbishi GSX that I wanted to build, but never got around to before I sold it.

Me and OP have good taste. Lol. Here is my current project. Runs low 12 at altitude. 350k miles on stock short block and still going making over 400whp.

Auto swap and big turbo to come.

Thanks guys it looks like we share common beginnings lol. Here's some pics of a few of my old cars. I think I'm on #25 or so now lol. The talon is before and after it was painted Sonic Blue like the '03/04 cobras.

Gas mileage is crap but I didn't expect much from a lifted truck with 33s with only a V6. The BEST I saw was only 14.5mpg all highway on a roughly 800 mile total trip. I know the mpg is slightly better because the speedo shows 70mph but it's really doing 72-73mph on the gps.

How's your highway mpg been while not towing now that you've had time to break the gears in and adjust your driving style?


EDIT: btw in high school I had an '87 Bronco on 36" swampers and sometime after that I had a '93 Fox body cobra in black!
