I read part of the other thread involving a 90,000 mile tune-up question and the associated costs.
However, my mechanic said that my tune-up would be around $2000 (ballpark) because of other items that need to be replaced at this time, timing belt, water pump, etc. Can someone please either tell me (or at least point me in the right direction) as to what really needs to be replaced and worked on. I can read the OM, but I came here for some from-experience advice. I also don't want to do things that I did at the 60k tune-up that aren't necessary at 90k but "recommended" by a mechanic.
I have a 1998 T4R with 92k miles. Thanks.
