90w or 75w-90?

I searched for the answer to my question and didn't find it. It's hard to imagine this hasn't been discussed, so I apologize in advance if it has and I missed it.

I have an '07 4 wheel drive V8. The owner's manual says to use straight 90w gear oil in the front and rear diffs and to use 75w-90 in the transfer case. The multiweight oil was easy to find, but I can't find the straight weight 90w. I have two questions:
1) Does it make a difference if I use the multiweight in the fr/rear diffs?

2) If it does, where do you folks get the straight 90w?
Thanks for any info.

The consensus is that 75W-90 is gtg. I myself put in Amsoil Sever Gear 75W-90 in all 3 diffs on both of my 4x4 4R's.
