'91 4R... i need answers/help

ok, i just bought a 91 4runner sr5 2wd 3vze. im new to 4runners and i need help on trying to figure out some concerns i have.

1. everytime i turn the wheel all the way to either side, i hear a loud knock by the wheels, not sure if its on both side.

2. everytime i go over pot holes, the back of the 4r feels like it wobbles/shakes.

3. i have no power when i get on the highway, it takes a while for me to even get up to 60 mph

4. when im driving between 50-60 mph my steering wheel shakes a little.

::NOTE::
small leak from both valve cover gaskets. water pump is leaking. big leak underneath the engine, not sure if its coming from the oil pan gasket, rear seal or transmission pan gasket. axle seals leaking on both sides. rear shocks need replacement. thats all i know thats wrong with the truck.

so if anyone can help me out with this ill appreciate it

The loud sound when turning to full lock is normal for a toyota. Some well placed grease will solve that for you. Depending on how worn out your engine is...the slow acceleration is normal for a toyota too. But only to a certain extent. It's no sports car. The speed wobbles could be any number of things. Tires out of balance....irregularities in your drive shaft. Bent wheel. Tie rods. Do a compression test of the engine and make sure you've got good compression. Take the tires to be balanced and get an alignment. Go from there. :thumb3:

I got it for $1000 with 181k miles on it. I hope I didn't pay too much

oh and I forgot one more thing, every morning when I put it in drive, the transmission shifts hard, when I go from 1st to 2nd it delays to change gears and shifts hard also. but once I drive it for awhile it goes away and shifts smoothly
