i picked up this badboy for 2100
has the 3L and 60% superswampers, with a 4" lift by procomp stage 2.
Now i need to Redo the head, replace Rad, And Water pump, timing, Ect. So this will be my next couple weeks,
Are there any aftermarket parts to Extend my life of a motor? I know the OEM heads for these are recommended, But what about Upgrades to the motor itself? worth it or no? (if not worth it 3.4 or a TDI swap sounds fun)
my plan is to Go thru and replace any warn parts, then i want to change the Gearing to 4:10s with a Duel stick hi-low, 5 spd my Truck, So what information will i need for this ? ive found the 5spd, outta another 3.0 as a 92. As i have 2 donars and a donar motor. How do i locate a Get Duel stick Tcase?
Buying ethier ARB or Spartan lockers. with onboard air
I Want to do a 3 link front, with highsteer, and a 4link rear. IS there any Details i should know about the Trailgear doesnt imply, And Question where it says "Truck bed may neeed to be moded for clearance might be needed?" is it for a 4runner?
After the Upgrades noted, I will be Working in the interior, considering its a White runner with Red interior, Ill switch the Seats with my Grey ones for now, But As someone in this Fourm mentioned, Using a Bmw powered seat and a 12v powering it, ill remove Carpet ill pull and lay ethier Rubber or Exteior paint such as rubbergaurd or rockgaurd. I want my Dash to be Hydro dipped, IF anyone knows a local shop in Western canada, Upgrade Stero and what not, Add Gauges, and Switches, Wire in air, and what not.
Now the Body upgrades, I wanted to Get Flares, 35" tires, Both Trailgear bumpers, Buy a Arb roof rack (note Can you move the Rails Towards the Front or atleast shorten the Rack) say for Chopping the Rear top off, Afterwordss, The Tacoma apex modular Cargo Rack Caught my Eye, I want to Fab my own out of the Rear of the Runner.
