91 4runner front grill removal

My first question(post),
I am installing the HELLA Vision plus conversion. I have the manual that states remove the side marker screws and then unclip the upper and lower attachment points. The top ones were all loose but i can not get to the bottom clips. Is there a technique to release them?

Just stick i knife or something in between them that is thin then gets wider it will pop out.

Hella conversion

Amazon has them with free shipping for $50 from Crutchfield. A web site yellow& bluelighting.com has them also for about the same plus. I also added the Hella 500 fog light with a factory fog switch for added effect. The conversion lights made a big difference from the sealed beams. My wife even approved this upgrade.

Junkyard practice

I went to the wrecking yard to master the technique. I saved the clips in case I chowder my own. Lots of SUV's in the yard - Cash for Clunkers . I found my missing rear headrests for $7 bucks each to complete my "new" 1991 4Runner V6- 5speed clean and stock- all recalls completed and full records of dealer service form the past ten years. I am very satisfied with my new addition to the family.
