Hi Guys,
Wonder if anyone has an idea about this problem:
I have a 91 4Runner, the remote stopped working for the alarm/power locks.
Let me explain a little bit:
When I disconnect/reconnect the car battery, the alarm does come on & the remote does work, temporarily (both to shut off the alarm & on the locks) but an (uncertain) amount of time later, it stops working again..
But the alarm/locks will consistantly turn off/on (with the remote) when I disconnect/reconnect the battery (actually the alarm goes off automatically when I disconnect/reconnect the battery)
But only works for that short periord of time afterwards,
I have replaced the car battery/cables and the remote battery, so thats all good.
Does anyone know what might be the problem? Any ideas would be super appreciated!
