91 rear window

It wants to stop or does stop?

When the rear window on my '90 starts getting slow going up I wipe some silicon lubricant or that tire shine stuff on the rubber around the window. That helps a lot. Have to do it more often in the winter when the rubber is stiffer.

I'm amazed it still works at all. Almost 18 years now, and that window has gone up/down a lot. If it was a Ford it would have broken 14 years ago.

I had a similar prolblem but it was with the motor. the motor was weak i guess and the back window could barely make it halfway up. But, in your case it's probably the friction of the rubber sealant against the window restricting it or maybe something is blocking it (like something stuck inbetween a crevisce, like leaves or something.)
