What would the benefits be if I were to upgrade my steering stabilizer shock?
Is this a worthy investment? Mine looks pretty old & stock
Do they make performance ones for a 92 4 runner 4x4?

I just replaced mine with a KYB steering stabilizer. The stock one still had life left in it, but the new one does a lot more! Went offroading the other day and usually the steering wheel jerks around as I go through stream beds and over rocky areas, but this time it stayed smooth and required less effort for me to keep it going where I wanted it.
It was quick and easy. Drop the skid plate, undo the bolts and nuts holding the old steering stabilizer in place, assemble new hardware as instructions suggest, and bolt new one up. No alignment needed!
