92 4runner...can't figure it out

Thanks for reading this. I'm totally lost on what to do with this truck.

It started with the timing belt tensioner breaking. After I fixed that I realized it had a blown head gasket. Now that I fixed that..and also replaced the head because the other one was warped.. At first it wouldn't run at all, but found the gasket under the air chamber was letting it suck air. So after replacing that it will start and run perfect...for like 20-30 minutes sitting there in the shop..can even drive up and down the driveway. But if I try and drive it down the road it will start cutting out on me after just a few miles. If I let it sit for a little bit and let it get cold again...it will start up fine and run perfect again for a very short time. I have a parts truck so I've swapped just about everything I can think of...most or all of the sensors, distributor, mass flow air sensor...fuel filter, fuel pump..etc.. But it still won't run...when it starts cutting out it acts just like it did when the air chamber gasket was sucking air.

Any ideas or input is greatly appreciated...this is the only truck i have and it's been down for like 2 months or so...so have been having to ride my motorcycle rain shine sleet or snow..lol..

Thanks,
Chris

Yes...that was one of the first things I replaced...it actually broke when taking it off...so was sure that was going to be the problem..but it wasn't. I keep wondering if it could be the mass flow air sensor or whatever it's really called. And also wonder if I just need to start taking it all back apart and maybe find something I missed.

the one that goes to the throttle body? Actually a piece junked off on the bottom because I was working on it when it was like 20deg outside..I thought it was still sealing off though because its just the part like where the hose clamp goes...but I have been worried about if thats it or not...my parts truck doesn't have one on it and havent been able to find one yet...
