Hey guys, gals, boys, and girls, First time poster, first time Toyota owner. Have been mostly in the Volkswagen scene. My first car was a 72 Super Beetle, rebuilt the motor, did some minor work to her, then a tree decided to fall on her, currently rebuilding.
I just got home from 6 months working about 300 miles away from me. When I got home, there was a 92 4Runner sitting for sale down at one of the local garages. I decided to pick it up. I took it for a drive to day to see my mum and it started to get a faint rod knock. Is this a common problem with the V6 3.0L?
I would like to keep this truck, but I do believe I am going to need a new motor. How much does a 3.0 V6 go for?
