Gday guys, after getting my 92 runner back from having the auto trans swapped the 4wd light flashes on the dash and clicking coming from the vsv's. I've changed the front actuator and the vsv's but no change. what else can it be? lines ?
so i checked the lines and the switches on tc and they are fine. there is very little vacuum coming from the inlet manifold and both vsv's have a little suction when it is in 4wd. i believe the problem is low vacuum and the light is flashing cos the actuator does not have enough suction to pull the sleeve into the locked position. in 2wd the front shaft won't turn so it looks like it doesn't have enough vacuum to go in either direction. how do i get more vacuum? the reservoir is intact.
