92 4Runner with 3.0 Benz Turbo Diesel

Lookin around craigslist, found this 4Runner. Seems like the guy did a pretty clean swap. 5spd truck, sais 4wd works. Looks like a sweet rig. Heres the link

ha that well over 100 miles more then I get out of a tank..... although now that I have gone back to stock size wheels I am hoping for the best.....

Either way this is a cool rig, dont know if I would pay that much for a 21 year old truck that has not been fully rebuilt...... no matter what motor is in it...... 50 dollar fill up I wonder where this person is getting their diesel sounds like abit of a tall tale to me

I had to admit, it looks clean, If I had nothing but money....

$8500 seems a little steep, but if its done right, and the drivetrain is solid, that thing should outlast us all. Lot of variables, like you said, 20+ yr old truck. If it was closer i'd go check it out. Its a few hours away.

I had an 82 300sd turbo. About 28 was as good as I got. I would think the 300 series 4 door sedan was heavier than a 4 runner but just sayin...
The engines are bulletproof but no one replaces all the little things, like air cleaner gaskets. Mine had all sorts of issues but it always cranked and drove.

I don't that price isn't that far out of line with the motor, parts and a little something for his labor. I have a shop and buy older trucks with major problems. I repair them and use them as shop vehicles and they always sell . I don't make much money never get much labor just parts and the use of the vehicle for a few months. that is what I am doing with the 92 runner I am driving now
