Recently my 4runner developed a problem where it would go into top gear far to early then stay there until I stop.
If I drive off from the lights it hits top gear and over drive before I am doing 30klm/h. It's rather sluggish like that so I have been manually shift from 1st to 2nd to 3rd for now.
No matter if I enable or disable overdrive or ECT it still does much the same. If I push my foot down it won't drop back any gears it just sits tight in top gear.
Any ideas what might be going on.
