My 93 V6 4Runner stalls whenever I attempt to go over 2000 RPM. The mechanic I took it to believed it was something in the fuel system. He eventually replaced the fuel pump as well as the wires to it which were extremely corroded, however that did not fix the problem. Unfortunately, he is the only mechanic in town that works on foreign vehicles.
Since 130 miles to the nearest city will be a long ride at a maximum speed of 20 MPH, anyone have any suggestions?
