I have a 93 4runner that my daughter drives to school and she recently told me that the power windows for the rear doors and tailgate quit working. I went and looked and the front door windows work fine, but at first (from the driver's seat) it seemed that the rear windows were dead, but I thought I heard noise. So, Standing with the rear doors open and using the switch on the door they will work very slowly for a little bit then quit. Moving the window by hand while holding the button down helps some. The tailgate window just kind of clicks when you turn the key, so it's getting juice, it just won't pull the window down. I thought of lubing the tracks, but all three wouldn't get stuck from lack of lube at the same time. (they all worked fine a month or two ago) So, I'm wondering if there is a ground back there somewhere that may be loose? Anybody know of a common ground location for the rear half of this truck? Any other ideas?
Thanks!!
