I bought a 93 4wd 5 speed with 250k. It is completely stock and is in good shape in and out. I had a compression check down and it has solid pressure in all cylinders. So far the only problems I have found are some oil seeping from the valve gasket( doesn't drip or effect oil level between changes.) and a leak in the in power steering gasket(no drip or big effect on level) The exhaust needs work and it sags to the rear a bit. I have about 1200 bucks that I could put into it, about the price I paid for it. I have access to a full shop and help and could if time allowed do all the work myself. I want to keep it pretty stock, just something to pull my small skiff with and put my dog in. Before I start to "restore" I'd like to hear anyones opinion on what my priorities should be for a truck with this many miles. Thanks

My vote is for new fluids and a valve adjustment to start with... When I say new fluids I mean bleed the brakes, clutch, change the anti-freeze, axle fluids, t-case fluid, trans fluid and of course engine oil. Next I'd make sure the battery cables and body grounds are good.
Just that process will allow for a fairly thorough inspection which will tip you off to any immediate issues... It's cheap and will only help to ensure that your "new" T4R provides you with years of reliable service.
