Okay, so heres my issue
1994
3.0
auto 4x4
96k miles
Earlier today while idling in the garage the truck just shut off, attempted to restart and it wasn't liking that at all, give it some gas and it fires up and will hold certain RPMs better than others. idle is still really choppy at best. but i was able to drive down the street and back (20mph or less)
Turn the key to the acc position and the fuel pump will not stop priming.
I figured maybe my filter just had enough so i swapped it and its still having the same issue. Checked my fuses they are all good. Last week i changed plugs, D cap and rotor, but its been fine since then. Checked all my vacuum lines and everything seems fine.
So heres my thoughts so far:
1 Bad fuel pump, maybe too weak to hold the pressure needed
2 bad FPR, dumping too much fuel
im really not sure but any help is greatly appreciated.
