95 4R - Dies when starting

Hello,

My problem is that every couple times when I start my 4R, it dies. It dies only when I start. But if I keep my RPMs up and drive and everything the car won't die. And my aunt says my battery still has about 3 yrs left in it...so someone please help me out

check the induction tube that exact thing happened when mine cracked. it starves the engine for air duct tape is a quick fix or you can get it replaced but they run about 80$ new and they are hard to find used because that is so commen

Is it not wanting to run when the engine is cold...like after it sits the night?

Does it start and run fine after it's warmed up?

If so....
Three things to check.
1) The main relay for the motor,,,I can't remember what its called, but look inside the fuse box under the hood...it'll have a round metal cap
2)cold start injector
3) water temp sensor on rear of motor
