im a jeep guy so im a total newb when it comes to IFS.
A friend of mine has a 95 4runner and his front passenger side axel shaft is loose. when you grab it the side where the boot meets the tire it is solid but if you wiggle where it meets the axel it has quite a bit of play. it doesnt seem to be the CV joint it seems more internal, like where the axel meets the housing. almost like its a bearing or something. i hope ive described it well enough. so heres the questions. whats wrong with his truck? what will it take to fix it? and can anyone direct me to a write-up?
