'95 Rear window stopped working

Hi everyone. I am from the Celicatech boards and I am new to this one. My parents have a 1995 4Runner and the back window doesnt want to work anymore. More than likely its the regulator, but is there anyway for me to check and make sure it is the regulator that is causing this problem? How much is a new rear regulator and does any place other than the dealer sell these? Thanks a bunch guys.

OK, I just found out that my regulator is fine. The part that is broken is the bracket that holds the window up, which is connected to the regulator. That piece hot rusted to hell and it snapped in half. I hate how the 95 4Runner is designed how you cant open the rear unless the window works.
