water pup is not leaking so it couldnt be that.
and if its a head gasket then ill give you my 4runner haha, you wouold have to go to a junk yard for that. i cannot find them anyware.

when is it overheating? meaning at speed, on the highway, at idle?

If it's overheating in town, but not on the highway, it very well can be the fan clutch. those do wear out and don't have the ability to lock up enough to move any air.

My car was overheating as a result of a blown head gasket. It's getting a rebuilt engine now. But it was a slow blow - first it ate some coolant, it would leak and go no where, then bubbling in the expansion tank, and now burning coolant....

If when you start the truck up in the morning and it blows out white smoke, its the head gasket. Thats a sure fire way to tell.
