96' rattling noise! help!

I have a rattling noise comming from under the truck. Happens when driving down a fairly well paved street, and gets louder when going over bumps. I've checked muffler mounts, heat shields, and spare tire lugs. Still can't figure it out. Could it be my shocks? Any help would be much appreciated. Thx.

bang on your skid plate and see if there is a rock or mud stuck up in there.

Have you checked your front and rear sway bars? when the bushings go on the bars or the endlinks they may male some noise over bumps.

I agree that it could be the sway bar end links. Mine were broken for a couple months before I realized. I didn't have a rattling sound, but it's definitely possible rattling could be caused by this.

thanks guys

it was actually a loose washer where the front rotors connect to the axel. both sides. all the mechanic had to do is replace the pin with a thicker one which made it more snug. i can't believe thats all it was.
