Hey I'm fairly new here, but recently my 96' sr5 /w 3.4 has been stalling on me. The truck has 222,000 miles. First time I was just cruising along at about 70, then cut back on the gas to go through a slight turn, and it just shut down on me. Next time it did the same thing after I gunned it up t about 70 then let it idle down the hill I was going up. I think the problem is the in-line fuel filter, be cause I was able to start the car but had to give it gas and rev up to keep running. Once it starts it won't idle on its own, but as long as it gets gas its fine. After sitting at about 2k rpm for about a minute, everything is fine.
I'm wondering if this thing seems like the culprit, or is there something else I should be looking for? Thanks for any and all help.
