After a frozen caliper a few months ago now I had a warped rotor. These truck are defintley hard on brakes. (Or it could be my wifes driving!!) Anyway, the good thing is the rotors or super easy to change. This is the first vehicle that the rotors literatly fell off when I removed the calipers.

My old mechanic in Boston put on Raybestos rotors n pads when i had my brakes all changed over. Just a warning, they mite have
the lifetime warrantee, but the long-life pad material is tough stuff and generates a lot of heat, and could warp rotors faster! I just had my front calipers reaplaced and not the rotors, but im feeling a slight pulsation. Im probably going to have to replace them regardless.

Your going down the same path I did. It started with truck pulling to one side when stopping. Decided to change the pads. In that process I realized I had a frozen driver side caliper. After replacing that, I noticed a slight pulsing when I hit the brake hard when stopping. A few months have gone by and drove the car for the first time in awhile. Now I really noticed the pulsing. Wife apparently didnt think it was important.
I replaced the rotors with Duralast from Autozone. They seem to be the same weight and material as the old OEMs. Im sure they arent the best but they have a two year warranty. I wasnt looking to upgrade. The brakes are smooth as silk now. Made a huge diffrence.
