97 4R BUMPERS rechrome or not?

Hello all,
I was wondering those of you who have 97's might be experiencing a bit of cancer on the rear bumper- just to the left of the hitch receiver and not to mention on the front bumper where i guess the water drips down from the headlights.
What i was asking is it really worth it to re chrome them,or install new ones from Toyo ,or the last choice is to replace them with some thing new altogether. Has as anyone done any of the above? I saw a very very cool bumper job that some did to their Toyo, but i cant remember where i saw it.

I went the route of make my own. I am no pro but they were a comprimise to what I originally planned.

Another option gould be to just have them color matched to the truck...

I'd imagine rechroming would cost more than just getting a good looking set of new aftermarket ones.

I was just reminded of that. So i guess that might be a waste of time.... Si i'll be looking for some new ones... Mt dealer said he can get the direct replacements, but i was think that i might want a change... not a huge change but a change none the less.... if you have any ideas please feel frre to pass them along... me? I'm burning up the net looking around...
