Just got a 97 4wd, but been on the site for a few months. I'm stuck between the OME 3" lift, the Sanoran Steel, or the Toytech. This will be my daily driver (about 15 min to work) and off road toy on the weekend. I just noticed that Sanoran Steel is just down the road from me and have heard nothing but good things about them but the price is what steers me away. I'm hoping one of them will have a Military discount. I've got 265's on it now, after the lift, what would be the best size to go with? What do you guys think?

Go with the S.S. 1.2 system. You receive everything you need in this package to do your lift right. I was hesitant on dropping $1250 on a coil spring lift at first. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Yes, it's more of an outlay of cash, but look at all the pieces that are included.
Luckily, I was able to pick it up from him since I work less than a mile away.

I like OME and live in Denver where I can get what I need from Slee Off Road, however being that close to the SS dealer and from what people say about their lifts I would try them for sure.

Steve is awesome. He put together the most complete kit there is offered. Adjustable trackbar, solidly built bumpstops, diff drop, stainless steel extended brake line, rear sway bar bracket extensions, ect. ect.
His price for springs and shocks are comparable to Toytec or OME. His package just includes everything else to do the job 100% completely.
Nothing wrong with Toytec or OME by any means. Those are good and affordable ways to lift if on a budget. So it all depends on your needs and if you want to cut corners. It's Cadillac or Chevrolet. Or you could drop down to a Geo and buy poly spacers to achieve your lift.

I've yet to hear anyone complain about a Sonoran Steel lift. Steve really seems to know his 3rd gen Runners.

Yeah, as soon as I sell some parts laying around from my last car I'll have enough to get the lift. Should be pretty soon, will post pics for sure!
