97 clinging noise when driving?

I just got a 97 4runner, when I drive with the window's open I can hear a faint clinging noise coming from the left side. Sounds like a slight metallic sound, only hear on small bumps. Lugs are all tight. Any ideas?

I have the same sound ( for a year now !!! ) . I'll be damned if I can figure out where its coming from. I thought I had it nailed last fall when I found a bunch of small pebbles in the fuel line skid plate underneath ( perfect scenario for rattling ) . Its a little protective cover that protects the fuel line ( can't miss it ) . If ya find it let me know .
