97 limited:want to remove running boards and fender flakes new opinions

I have a 97 limited I just got and I want to remove the running board and mayb fenders. But would like to see what it looks like anyone have pics? Or advice will it look stupid?

The running boards will come off in a few mins and will look a lot better! The flares will come off but there will be holes where the clips hold them on to the body.
