97 no tail, brake or turn sig on right rear?

I thought I had a bulb out. Not so. All bulbs are good. All fuses are good. Only bulb in right rear tail light that works is the reverse bulb. Not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions or ideas?
Ive read thru 20 pgs of posts, but haven't had any luck.

Did you check the ground? or the ground wire in the harness?

No. Have not checked ground. I'll have to find wiring diagram to know which wire is the ground.

Pull the tailight out, check ground first (not sure what color) like stated above then with a test light securely grounded take a pin and poke the wires from the tail light going forward, test and see what lights up.... put the reverse light on too. You may have sliced your harness unknowingly somewhere. If you can figure out where it comes out up front you can test there

There is a quick disconnect harness inside the cabin just behind the taillight behind the plastic rear quarter panel cover, the tail light grounds just below it, sounds like it may have come loose somehow, or been damaged somewhere along the lines.

If you have a trailer wiring kit, one of the plugs may have come loose that connect to the splitter for the trailer plug. the plastic connections are not that perfect and can rip wires out pretty easily. I would start with the ground, check for any shorts where the wire is exposed and go from there.

Im going to pull tail lights out this evening to ck grounds. Also going to ck trailer wiring.

Also had someone recommend checking the stoplight swith behing brake pedal, stating that it feeds each side seperatlely.??????

White with black stripe. Your trailer converter may be the culprit. It's expensive, but if you don't tow it can be bypassed. In general, there is no substitute for troubleshooting with a test light. Do not change parts based on internet guesses without confirming the problem. Good way to waste money and time and even make things worse.

No power at rear right of vehicle except reverse light. Pulled sill plates at front & rear doors along with trim piece between doors that cover wiring & seat belt unit. Front kick panel was also removed. All wiring, grounds, etc look good up to connector on floopan at base of kick panel. I had trouble there finding correct wires to continue forward to find power.

Where is the beginning of the power feed for these circuits? Is it at the stop light switch?

I tried to follow Green, Green grey, & Green yellow from rear to front until i found power, which i didnt before giving up for the moment.

There was no separate feed in 1996,1999 or 2002. I really doubt there was in 1997.

Have you confirmed good ground on right side? I am not doing anything further to help you until there is a solid answer to that and anyone who does is wasting their time.

Also, do you or do you not have the trailer package?

Ground is good. Vehicle has a Hoppy brand tail light converter box. All grounds & wiring seem good at rear of vehilcle. Checked harness at connection upstream from tail light harness plug. No power other than reverse coming into that plug. Sorry if my explanations aren't clear.

Hey, it only hurts you. If you want help, you have to be very clear about what connections you check, by wire color and location, and how you did it. Otherwise, those of us who know something about electricity are helpless and you are stuck with the internet guessers. The more detail, the better. This ain't easy over the internet but I do it a lot.

So, is there power to the connections going TO the converter box? Is it in the stock location? Can you tell if it is an add-on or a replacement for the stock converter? A photo of the thing would be nice as that is currently the prime suspect.

How did you test the ground? Try and be exact. We can do this if you cooperate.
