Hilux SW4, the brazilian 4Runner
Hello from Brazil!
I am also a newbie on this forum, and the owner of a 97 Toyota Hilux SW4, which is how the 4Runners were branded down here. I am just starting now, but one of the things I want to change in mine is to replace all the tailgate badges/emblems for the american 4Runner ones.
Any pictures from the tailgate of the 97/98 showing the original badges/emblems positioning will be really appreciated! Also, any hints on where to find the 4Runner emblem that goes on the licence plate frame will be very helpfull, as I only seem to find on Ebay the ones that go on the sides of the licence plate (that I believe are for newer then 97/98 4Runners).

Welcome to the forum! as far as advice... Look around, youll never run out of ideas on here. You can find alot of parts on here in the classified section, also yotatech.com is another good place to look for parts etc. Also alot of parts are interchangable so junkyards are never a bad place to look for something specific. Good luck- remember to throw up some pics as you go along.

Put your time in before any spendy mods... maybe a month and then start modding! I was on here for months before I decided what I wanted to do... anyway, ditch the running boards!-- uh if u want to...welcome to the forum:cheers:
