If anyone is interested, I took off my running boards last night. They are in pretty good shape. There is a little bend in the passenger side one but very easily corrected. Not much of anything. And on the driver side, the front plastic piece has come disconnected from the board itself. They have the brackets attached but no bolts, nuts or studs since I had to cut them off (the brackets are in tact).
In the picture the one closest is the passenger side with the bend between the 2 closest brackets. Obviously, that would make the other the drivers side and the plastic piece furthest from you is the one that is no longer connected.
