I'm building my new daily driver and am having a problem with the sunroof. I've searched and can't really find what I'm lookin for. When I bought the 4runner the sunroof was shattered, so I looked up how to replace it and bought one. When I went to replace the sunroof glass it was totally different from the one I bought (which is a toyota factory sunroof according to schematics I've looked up). The sunroof that came on the truck is a little smaller than the factory one I bought. Has anybody run into this problem or have a different sunroof than the normal factory one? Does anybody know how I can fix this? Thanks for any help.

Well who did you buy this "factory" sunroof from?
If it was a dealer then should probably ask them.
For us to help you it is always good to post a picture of the parts. This will help us to see the part.

So you bought the entire assembly (what you posted a picture of) and I assume from a dealer?
Can you look at your receipt and post the specific part # ?
Where did you buy it? (OEM Toyota or other) ?

Bought it from a guy that WORKS for toyota and was parting out a 4runner. But ya the whole assembly. As soon as I took the brace that use to hold the glass, I realized it was the wrong size. I even took the above pictured one I bought apart to see if it would work but it doesn't.
