97 wheels peeling.

Just repaint them with some rattle can. That's what I'm in the process of doing. it looks great and been done by a lot of people before including myself.

Yep. Here are my after pics:

Doh! That's the same color I'm using on a green limited, lol. Went to the rustoleum section at wal-mart and pretty much that or black was my only option, nothing else would look worth a damn. I take that back. there was an aluminum color that would make your wheels look factory again or close to it...wasn't the look I was going for but could be for someone wanting that factory look.

I have zero plus one wheel. (My bumper experiment was a disaster.) I used some instructions posted on here. I'll look for it later, but in summary I cleaned up with a red Scotch pad, no sanding. I degreased with lacquer thinner. Then 2 coats Duplicolor Etching Primer because I was down to bare metal in places, 3 coats Duplicolor Sandable Primer, sand lightly with 600 grit, 4 coats Graphite Duplicolor Wheel Paint, 3 coats Duplicolor Wheel Clear Coat (all from NAPA). I'm very pleased, but I have some boo-boo's from the mount/balance. I'm putting on new tires so I'm doing them unmounted, one at a time. You can also do the index card trick and do it with tires on.
