98 3.4 swapping into my 1991 3.0 Runner

Hello everyone! I am doing a 3.4 swap from a 98 4runner into my 1991 3.0... So far I've pulled everything out and redid the timing belt and a few other thing. The motor is all put back together and it took me almost 7.5 hours to get the 3.4 into the runner yesterday! I was having trouble getting the motor and tranny to line up and slide into the tranny. Finally we got it! After that we wanted to get the motor mounts all lined up and bolted and we finally were able to get it right on and got her bolted to the mounts.. My main concern now is the throttle cable being to short as well as the cruise control and a fee other things I can think of.. What am I supposed to do? Almost everything on the 3.4 is backwards and to short. What has everyone else done with these problems?

The stock cable will work. I'm using mine right now. You just need to route it around everything. As far as cruise control goes, the new engine uses a totally different system and I'm working on figuring it out right now. Looking like it's gonna be a fun one. Otherwise everything else work.
