I have a 98 4runner SR5 4x4 with 218,000 miles. I know there is a ton of life left in it. I honestly have never had any issues with it. Surprisingly, I don't use it for off-roading so it is not beaten up at all... it is actually in fantastic shape. Are therev people out there that would buy a 4runner with that amount of mileage on it?

Oh I am sure it will sell but don't expect much for it. I am may get flamed for saying so but I would not pay more then half of list price for a 4Runner with mileage over 200K. At 218,000 miles its just not worth much and the odds of a major repair is greatly increased. Even for a Toyota.

Any other details? 5-Speed Manual or automatic? V6 engine? Rear Diff Lock? Tire condition and type of tires? Tire size?

I think anyone that knows Toyotas wouldn't have a problem with that kind of mileage but the "average" joe would.

I'd run the numbers on the KBB website for private party price and consider that amount to be a bit higher than what I'd ask. I'm going thru the same thing now trying to sell my '00 with 152,000 miles. Bluebook says about $6200. I'm offering it for $5700 but expect to get less.

i was thinking about selling my 98 sr5 about 6 months ago, it had 160k on it at the time and I was gonna start off asking 5,500 and let them feel like they talked me down to 4700
