'98 4Runner - Cyclinder 6 Misfire

Ok... Just to cover bases right quick.

We have a '98 4Runner, just over 103k miles. Yesterday after driving a couple miles, the runner started running rough. I describe it as "coughing". Didn't matter the speed, though I don't know if freeway speeds would have changed anything - this was all city driving. It also would act like this at idle.

We tested and got that cylinder 6 is misfiring. Did a bit of a tune up on it, and nothing changed. We check the air intake system and all seems to be fine there. Changed the fuel filter and a bunch of gas dripped out.

Checked the plugs and found one of the plugs wasn't seated right. Fired 'er up and ran 'er around the block a few times and seems to have stopped.

What I want to know now is, in case this doesn't work, what other suggestions do you all have?

If it's running good it sounds like you got it...

That's just the way my husband puts it. I imagine it wasn't in all the way or something.
