98 and 99 gauge cluster the same?

My stupid gas gauge stopped working and I replaced the sending unit already but its still no bueno...I was unable to locate a er receiving unit and am goin to replace that next, any suggestions?

The cluster as a whole is different, but i am not sure if the gas tank thing is the same as 98. What im positive is different is the fact that they stoppe the rolling odo in 98 and switched to a digital one.
